Calling all Buskers and Street Performers

Anyone can be a busker – from beginners to professionals. All you need is a desire to perform. Solo singers, duos, groups, musicians and instrumentalists of any genre, and non-musical street entertainers and performers, are welcome. There is no age limit!

This busking competition is an inclusive, welcoming and supporting environement for all those involved. We encourage supporting one another, networking and collaborations!

Busking is a great way for you to showcase your talents, gain experience and exposure to different audiences and venues. Many of our buskers have forged lasting friendships, started wonderful performing collaborations or have gone onto perform at events around the country! 

Our wonderful local businesses contribute to the prize money each year.

Our judges are are looking for the best... however we also reward those buskers that are willing to have a go and acknowledge performers who are passionate about their craft and want to share it with others.

On the final day, we all come together to celebrate a wonderful weekend of music, entertainment and new friends. From 4pm the awards are presentented and the winner is invited to kick off the evening of live music playing a winners set.

We then party the night away with buskers performing mini sets and jamming together on stage. It's a lot of fun and a memorable night for all those involved.

Congratulations to our Winners in 2022.

Last year we welcomed 29 Buskers performing at 12 venues throughout our small coastal town. It blows our mind each year of the incredible talent that WA keeps producing year after year.

We look forward to greeting new faces and welcoming back returning friends this September for the 8th Lancelin Busker Festival.
